BEAUTY POLICIES

1. Patch Test

A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to any tinting or perming treatment. This allows us to check for any sensitivities before proceeding. While it significantly reduces the risk of a reaction, it does not eliminate it completely, as allergies can develop unexpectedly. Without a patch test, we cannot carry out your treatment.

A patch test is strongly recommended prior to any eyelash extension treatment to check for potential sensitivity or allergic reactions to adhesive. If a client chooses to proceed  without a patch test, they will be required to sign a disclaimer before their appointment confirming that they understand the potential risks involved, By signing, the client accepts full responsibility, and Enhance will not be held liable for any adverse reactions or outcomes.

2. Booking Fees

A non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

  • A £10 booking fee is required for beauty treatments

  • A £20 booking fee is required for aesthetic treatments

  • A £50 booking fee is required for training courses

  • A £100 booking fee is required for anti-wrinkle treatments

Your booking fee will be deducted from the total cost on the day of your appointment or course.

3. Health & Safety

Please inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, or recent changes to health before your appointment. We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for all clients and staff. All tools and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitised between each use, and high standards of personal hygiene are followed at all times.
Client safety is our priority. Consultations are carried out before treatments, and patch tests are recommended where required. Clients who choose to proceed without a patch test must sign a disclaimer confirming they understand the risks.
All equipment is regularly checked, and any hazards or incidents are reported and managed appropriately. We comply with all relevant health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and professional salon environment.

4. Consent Form

You will be required to complete and sign a consent form at your patch test appointment. This confirms your understanding of the treatment, including any risks, and records your medical history.

5. Age Policy

Clients must be aged 16 or over to receive treatment or enrol onto training courses.. Proof of age may be required.

6. Aftercare

Full aftercare advice will be provided following your appointment. Adhering to this guidance will help maintain your results and reduce the risk of any issues. We cannot be held responsible for problems arising from failure to follow aftercare instructions.

7. Cancellations & Lateness

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If you do not provide at-least 48 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled appointment.

Late arrivals may result in a shortened treatment time, a late fee, or refusal of service.

All booking fees are non-refundable.

8. Our Promise

We are committed to ensuring you feel safe, comfortable, and happy with your results. While reactions are rare, every client is different. Please be reassured that we are fully insured and qualified in all treatments.

9. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it is unsafe, if important medical information has not been disclosed, or if salon policies are not respected.

ACADEMY POLICIES

1. Passing Your Assessments

We want every student to succeed, but you must reach the required standards to pass your course. Assessments may include both theory and practical tasks. If you do not meet the standard the first time, don’t worry - you will have the opportunity to try again.

2. Resits & Additional Charges

If you need to resit an assessment, an additional fee will apply. This helps cover the time and resources needed to support you through your resit. Payment must be made before booking your resit session.

3. Resits & Case Studies

If you do not meet the required standard and are asked to return, you will be required to complete case studies on a training head or live model before booking your resit. This helps build your confidence and improve your skills.

Once you feel ready, we will arrange a resit day. On the day of your resit, you will be required to work on a live model under full assessment conditions. Your trainer will work closely with you to support your progress and help you succeed.

4. Live Model Requirement

For some practical assessments, you may be required to bring a live model to work on. This is an important part of your learning, as treatments cannot always be performed on a training head.

  • Your model must meet the academy’s suitability requirements

  • A patch test is required for live models

  • It is recommended that students provide their own model to ensure comfort and availability

  • If you are unable to provide a model, please let us know in advance and one may be arranged for you

  • If no model is available on the day (and no notice has been given), your assessment may be rescheduled and an additional fee may apply

5. Professionalism

We aim to create a positive, supportive learning environment. All students are expected to behave respectfully, safely, and professionally throughout their training and assessments.

6. Agreement

By enrolling in the academy, you agree to follow these policies. They are in place to support your learning journey and help you achieve the best possible outcome.
